


This blog is intended to aid students studying to pass the math portion of the GED.. I taught high school and GED math for about 12 years. I am currently working for an electrical construction company and a member of the IBEW local 613.. In my explanation of when scientific notation is used, I said it simplified writing very large numbers, but did not add that it also simplifies writing very small numbers...There are however, examples of both in post.
